 The company has 45-50 CDA's at present who are incharge for covering the entire cane area of villages (400-500 at present) under designated area of our mill M/s Tirupati Sugars Limited. They are responsible for overall cane development activities such as cane plantation, varietal improvement, yield improvement, cane survey, plant protection measures and demonstration for scientific techniques etc.
They also ensure cane availability and cane supply to factory. They also keep check in case of the diversion of cane to other factories /jaggary units from their assigned villages. We are providing company’s printed dress to the Field/CDA staff /Officers as a dress code. We prepare the weekly roster of CDA in their assigned villages as they are easily approachable by the grower community. |

| CDA & Officer Training: The Company conducts training program in house and also arrange outdoor faculty on different technical as well as behavioral issues. These programmes improve their skills, and sometimes various research stations are also visited to get the practical insightment on various issues like varietal identification, improved method of plantation, peculere symptoms of insect-pest & disease. |

| The company conducts the Grower wise survey of cane fields in each season after completion of the spring planting, through CDA. During survey of cane fields the CDA records all 4 dimensions of the field .They document the different particulars on their Gasties/registers like name of the plot owner, measurement of dimensions ,date of sowing, condition of crop & variety of cane. |

Kisan Seva Kendra |
| Our company Tirupati Sugars Limited has set up Kisan Seva Kendra .These KSK has its defined proximity to serve the grower in case of distribution of agrochemicals, seeds etc. and information provided to grower on cane survey data. The KSK covers the cane centers in nearby locality. They are provided with an in charge & assistant who is responsible for distribution of agrochemicals & documentation of the same. |
